CRICKET ONE DAY MATCH:IRELAND COACH Phil Simmons has a couple of key decisions to make this morning before finalising his side for the One Day International against Canada at Castle Avenue (10.45am).

Alex Cusack missed the drawn Intercontinental Cup game between the sides with bronchitis, but Simmons is hopeful of including the Clontarf all-rounder on his home ground.

"He had a little hit today but we'll see tomorrow morning how he feels," said Simmons, who has concerns over Andre Botha, who was unable to bowl in the four-day game because of an ankle injury.

Niall O'Brien and Gary Wilson return from their counties for the game, while left-arm spinner Gary Kidd returns after being left out for the Intercontinental game.

Kyle McCallan will lead the side on his 199th appearance and is hopeful Andrew White continues the form that saw him hit an unbeaten century against the Canadians in Malahide last Friday.

"That was the Andy White of old, back to before he went to Northants," said McCallan.

"I hope this is a big kick on for him, and he carries it into the One Day Internationals coming up."
