Leinster will have Richardt Strauss and Shane Jennings available for selection against Munster on St Stephen's Day at Thomond Park (5pm), but they are awaiting the prognosis on Kevin McLaughlin's shoulder injury.

The flanker “is being assessed by a consultant to ascertain the course of action required” after he was forced to withdraw from Friday’s Pro12 win over Connacht at the RDS.

Jennnings made his return from a hamstring injury in the same game and has reported “no ill effects”, while hooker Strauss “has trained well this week” and is in line for his 100th cap.

"Once again Seán O'Brien, Marty Moore, Cian Healy and Ben Te'o took to the field and are stepping up their recovery on a daily basis with all four expected back in the next month or so," the province said in a statement today.
