RTÉ TELEVISION will broadcast 56 live games during 200 hours of coverage over 25 days from the South Africa World Cup which gets under way on June 11th.

The national broadcaster will also have highlights of the eight matches played simultaneously to their live games in the third round of the group stages.

Argentinian World Cup winner Ossie Ardiles is one of three new faces at Montrose, joining debutants Kevin Kilbane and former German international Dietmar Hamann on the panels.

Liam Brady is back for the first time since stepping down from his role as Giovanni Trapattoni’s assistant coach, while Richie Sadlier and Denis Irwin will also be in the studio, aided and abetted by the usual suspects of John Giles, Eamon Dunphy, Graeme Souness and Ronnie Whelan.

As ever, Bill O’Herlihy will be asking the questions, with Darragh Maloney, Peter Collins and Con Murphy on hand as back-up.

The away team will be lead by Jimmy McGee and George Hamilton, who have Ray Houghton, Gabriel Egan, Trevor Steven, Stephen Alkin, Damian Richardson, Adrian Eames and Matt Holland in support.

The Après Matchteam is also back onside.
