HOCKEY:BUOYED BY victories in the Irish Hockey League last weekend Railway Union, Pembroke Wanderers and Pegasus will attempt to maintain their form when they travel away tomorrow for their quarter-final ties in the ESB Irish Senior Cup.

Railway, who have won every game, in all competitions, they have played so far this season, go north to take on Ards, the same team they beat 4-1 in Dublin in the IHL last month.

Pembroke face Loreto in the round’s only all-Leinster tie, Loreto intent on bouncing back after last weekend’s IHL defeat to Pegasus. The Ulster champions reached last year’s cup decider by beating Ballymoney in the semi-finals – and it is Ballymoney who they face again tomorrow.

Cup holders UCD host Cork Harlequins at Belfield, with Munster’s premier club hoping for a more successful trip to Dublin than last weekend’s 3-0 IHL defeat at Railway.
