A 20-length winner of a Leopardstown bumper over two years ago, the ex-Michael Cullen trained horse only reappeared at Navan a fortnight ago and ran a race full of promise.

Collier County raced generously throughout and turning into the straight looked a likely winner.Understandably in the circumstances he started to weaken at the second last but still stuck at it well enough to finish fourth to the SunAlliance outsider Supreme Developer.

With that run under his belt the John Magnier-owned horse should be able to account for Leinster in the maiden hurdle.
