From Newtownabbey in Co Antrim, Hill made considerable lengths in the final countdown to Tokyo, securing her qualification at the Swim Ireland Performance Meet in April. The 2019 Irish National Champion in 50m Freestyle, 50m, 100m Backstroke, and now Irish senior record holder in four events: the 50m, 100m Freestyle, 50m, 100m Backstroke. A finalist in the 2019 European short course championships and 2018 Commonwealth Games, Hill is coached by Peter Hill (no relation).
