The RSA Insurance ODI between Ireland and Sri Lanka at Clontarf today was abandoned due to the weather. Heavy rain which left the surrounds of the square saturated meant that no play was possible despite the best efforts of the local groundstaff.

Umpires Richard Kettleborough, Richard Smith and match referee Chris Broad officially abandoned the game following a ground inspection at 2:20pm. Spectators who purchased tickets from TicketMaster should contact them for refund details, while those bought from Cricket Ireland should contact the office.
