Draw details:All four of next weekend's round two All-Ireland qualifier fixtures have been fixed for Saturday. The stand-out match between Derry and Mayo goes ahead at Celtic Park at 3.30pm.
The winners of the four ties will be drawn against the provincial runners-up for the final qualifier round the weekend after next, which will leave four counties to go into the All-Ireland quarter-final draw against the four provincial champions.
Croke Park yesterday confirmed that contrary to reports the All-Ireland hurling semi-finals will be drawn on the evening of July 29th.
This means that Waterford or Kilkenny - or whoever emerges from their quarter-finals - can draw either the winners of the Cork/Tipperary/Wexford match or the winners of the likely Clare-Limerick pairing.
Meanwhile Tipperary defender Paul Curran has learned that he will miss the next four or five weeks after sustaining a broken jaw in the qualifier against Dublin last Saturday. Curran, who was playing his first match of the summer, had to leave the field near the end and had the fracture confirmed the following morning.
He doesn't yet know whether he will require an operation but the injury is a bad blow to Tipperary ahead of next week's SHC qualifier against Cork in Thurles.
The winners will have the easier All-Ireland quarter-final, Wexford instead of Munster champions Waterford.
It's also a setback for Curran who broke a toe before the start of the provincial championship and had only returned last weekend.
Gerard Cavlan is the latest addition to Tyrone's injury list ahead of Sunday's SFC final against Monaghan.
Cavlan has a hamstring strain, and joins full-back Cormac McGinley in the doubtful category.
McGinley has not trained for the past two weeks due to a groin problem.
Stephen O'Neill has recovered from a hamstring injury, but a knee problem that prevented him from starting the semi-final win over Donegal is still causing him trouble.
