Jason Holland's involvement with Munster in their European Cup match against Saracens at Thomond Park on Saturday has led to a switch in Midleton's match against Carlow in Division Three of the All-Ireland League. Carlow have agreed to play on Sunday in an effort to accommodate the Cork side.

The obvious hope is that Holland will come through the match on Saturday with no ill effects and that Munster coach Declan Kidney will then release him to play for the club on Sunday for what is sure to be a difficult match at Oak Park. Ballynahinch, who have won three games from three, can select from a full squad for their away game against Skerries.

Skerries have not yet selected for the weekend. Although Skerries have not been playing terribly well, they have the comfort of knowing that they beat the hard-running Ballynahinch last season.

Skerries are expecting their visitors to again run the ball from almost anywhere on the pitch. Ballynahinch will be without international Andy Ward because of Ulster's match.

Old Wesley have not selected for their match against Monkstown but are hoping to regroup after the wheels came off against Carlow before Christmas.

In Division Four, Queen's University hope to field a full strength team for the first time in the league campaign as they face Banbridge at home.

At the other end of the spectrum, UCC continue to soar. They play in the quarter-finals of the European Student's Championship in London today against St Mary's College, Twickenham.
