The Noel Meade team had a triple Grade One-winning weekend and while tonight's €12,000 mile and a quarter maiden at Dundalk hardly compares, it does allow the champion jumps trainer run an interesting contender in South West One.
The ex-Pascal Bary-trained horse couldn't win in four starts on the flat in France but did win first time of asking over jumps for Meade last May.
Along with the very smart hurdles mare Grangeclare Lark, he represents a potent threat to some three-year-olds that have had lots of opportunities to win in the past. South West One looks a type to appreciate a return to the level more.
Victram, another jumps name and a former Imperial Cup and Irish Lincolnshire winner, could face a tough task in giving weight away to Bahrain Storm while a good draw in two may help Send Me Home reverse course form with Tuesday Flyer in the seven-furlong handicap.
