CURRAGH PREVIEW: A PAIR of blinkers could work the oracle for Mad About You who attempts to re-establish her reputation in tomorrow’s Group Three feature at the Curragh.

The Dermot Weld-trained filly could finish only third at odds of 3 to 10 in the Park Express Stakes two weeks ago when giving the clear impression she was putting less than 100 per cent in.

The headgear that helped her win at Naas last year is back on for the Bruce Betting Gladness Stakes where she faces nine opponents that include last year’s winner Jumbajukiba.

Also in the field is a pair of cross-channel challengers including the German Group Two winner, Lovelace.

However some of Mad About You’s Group One form is a stand-out and it could be worth betting she shows it again with those blinkers in place.

Whats Up Pussycat, one of three David Wachman fillies in the race, wasn’t beaten far last weekend behind Maoineach and significantly now has Wayne Lordan on board for the Listed Loughbrown Stakes.

The lightly-raced Poet showed up well in a piece of work after racing a fortnight ago and can go close in the Alleged Stakes while tomorrow’s Limerick feature, the Grade Two Hugh McMahon Chase, can see Top Of The Rock reverse course form with Financial Reward.
