John Maughan, Fermanagh's new manager, has already given a vote of confidence to his newly-crowned All-Ireland B champions. The Ulster team eased recent concerns over their spluttering league form with by steamrolling over Wicklow in last Sunday's B final.
Meath full back Richard Rennick is considered doubtful due to a groin strain, so team manager Sean Boylan will have to bolster his defensive lines to cope with Fermanagh's razorsharp forward line, spearheaded by Raymond Gallagher and Stephen Maguire, who hit 2-4 in the B final. Meath are expected to finalise their team this evening after training.

Clanna Gael's David Kelly comes into the Roscommon team that will host Tyrone on Sunday. The Connacht side administered a first league defeat in 12 months to Louth last time out, stunning them with two second-half goals.
Frankie Dolan, who notched up 1-7 from placed balls in that match, again lines out at corner forward, alongside Stephen Lohan, who contributed 1-3.
Louth, meanwhile, are mulling over a considerable injury list as they prepare to visit Donegal on Sunday. It is thought unlikely that Colin Kelly will be able to return to training before the new year. Team captain Nicky Malone is also struggling with injury, and Seamus O'Hanlon, another regular, is also striving to regain full fitness.
