Recent events appear to indicate that last year’s first Munster title in 17 years may have been a mirage rather than an oasis. Loss of Donal O’Grady just weeks before championship the latest blow to morale after last year’s disappointment against Clare in the All-Ireland semi-final and the latest failure to get promotion. Good emerging talent continues to be undermined by chaotic administration.
