Conor Glass inspires Derry to an Ulster minor final place

Midfielder contributes seven points in the narrow defeat of Donegal

Derry 0-11 Donegal 0-10 A top class display from the Aussie-bound Conor Glass was the main reason Derry advanced to the Ulster final.

Donegal had the chance to steal the game in the final seconds when they were awarded a penalty but Conor Doherty blazed his effort over the bar.

Donegal started well and hit the first two points but by half-time Glass had led his side to an 0-5 to 0-3 lead, which they would not relinquish.

Glass hit the first two points of the second half and by the 41st margin the lead was extended to 0-9 to 0-4.
