No need to panic, much though the temptation is ever there. Still dead certs for the August Bank Holiday, still decent shouts to make September’s third Sunday. Need to sort out a few issues – Keith Higgins’s best position for one, Andy Moran’s for another. But they will beat most of what’s put in front of them.
Last good day: Two All-Ireland finals in a row might not have ended well but they were great days all the same.
