The dispute over when this weekend's match between St Patrick's Athletic and Finn Harps would be played was resolved yesterday with the Donegal club agreeing to travel tomorrow following talks with National League officials.

"Obviously I'm not entirely happy with the way everything has turned out but I've talked to members of my board and they say they have received a more satisfactory account of how the whole thing came about," said manager, Charlie McGeever, yesterday.

"The situation seems to be now that if we don't play on Friday then it would end up being a midweek match over the next couple of weeks and that would be even worse so it looks like we'll be there all right."

McGeever is still unsure of whether Stuart Gauld will be made available by his employers while Sammy Johnston's journey from Glasgow may be somewhat more scenic than usual given the last minute switch in travel arrangements but he hopes to have a full team.
