CLONTARF make a number of changes to the team that defeated Malone last week in Division Two of the All-Ireland League for the visit of Highfield. Shane Guerin, who was stretchered off at Gibson Park with a knee injury will be out for a number of weeks. He is replaced in the flanker position by Colm Brady.
Michael Fitzsimons, who had flu last week, replaces the hamstrung Karl Hoffman, while New Zealander Al O'Donnell, who came in for prop Ivan Cummins, retains his place.
Bective field the same side for the trip to Skerries except for Craig Whelan at fullback. Whelan injured his shoulder last Saturday in their comfortable 47-18 home win over NIFC and must pass a fitness test later in the week.
Sunday's Well, also unbeaten in their first two games of the season, have postponed selection for the clash with Monkstown until later in the week. Several players received knocks against Skerries at Musgrave Park and are having ongoing treatment. It is hoped that they will be able to select an unchanged side.
Monkstown make several adjustments to the team that defeated City of Derry at Branch Road. Ian Bloomer, who was selected last week but picked up an infection returns to the second row for Kieran Rigney. Hooker Ian Lynch also comes in for the injured Danny Dent.
DLSP have yet to win a game and will face a tough test at Dr Hickey Park against Greystones at the weekend. Only one imposed change forces tight head prop Ciaran Shanley onto the sideline. He was concussed last week against Dolphin and faces three weeks out of the game.
Greystones, however, have had to make two changes to the team that lost to Wanderers on Saturday. Paul Noble comes into fullback for Alan Keyes and Marc Evans replaces Wayne Robinson in the centre. Both players have hamstring injuries.
Wanderers reshuffle a little for the tie with Malone - Mark O'Driscoll losing out. Kelvin Leahy moves into the number eight spot for O'Driscoll with Neil Culliton going in as flanker in place of Leahy.
In Division Three UCD have one change to the side to face Portadown. Adam Peavoy comes in on the wing with Jack Doheny losing out. Peavoy becomes the 68th UCD player to play in the AIL. Considering they have played only 37 matches in total, it is unlikely that any other side has had such a turnover of players.
Collegians and Galwegians, who fill the first and second slots respectively on the table in Division Three field much the same sides as last week. Galwegians, who face Queen's University, though, are waiting for news of their second row Jimmy Duffy, who was injured last week against Portadown. Collegians, at home to Buccaneers, have Paul Clarke coming back into the second row for Simon Dorman. Clarke was unavailable last week because of business commitments.
