  1. Kerry Group Produces more than 15,000 food ingredients and flavours for international markets and employs 24,000 people worldwide. Turnover is €5.8 billion.
  2. Glanbia Produces cheese and dairy-based ingredients for international markets. It has 3,500 employees and a turnover of €2.9 billion. Brands include Avonmore and Yoplait.
  3. Irish Dairy Board Irish co-operative employing 3,000 people that exports dairy products to 80 countries. Brands include Kerrygold and Dubliner, and turnover is €2 billion.
  4. Diageo Global alcoholic drinks company responsible for Guinness, Bailey's and Bushmills. Diageo Ireland employs 1,500 people and turns over €1.7 billion.
  5. Greencore International producer of convenience foods such as ready-meals and sandwiches. It has 10,000 employees worldwide and a €1.5 billion turnover.
