Fine Gael’s Joe Neville is a first-time TD following his election in the Kildare North constituency.

Mr Neville (45) is the current mayor of Co Kildare, and has served as a county councillor since 2014. He previously served on Leixlip Town Council since 2009.

Mr Neville is qualified as a chartered accountant, having trained with ‘Big Four’ firm PwC. Since then, he worked with various corporations as a financial controller, including Dublin Airport Authority (DAA), Topaz Energy (now Circle K) and Kerry Group, according to his LinkedIn profile.

He studied a degree in commerce at University College Dublin. Mr Neville is married to Caroline, and they have three children. They live in Leixlip.
