Sir, – With local and European elections looming, what do we really know about any of the candidates?
Flyers thrown through letterboxes or posters on poles do not really tell the story behind the human beings seeking our votes.
What do we know of their business interests?
Are they landlords, are they benefiting from the influx of asylum seekers or international protection applicants?
Pamela Anderson: ‘I felt like life was really like death for me’
Jamie Dornan: ‘I lost my mom, and I lost four of my best friends in an accident. I had a difficult few years’
What time is kick-off and what TV channel is Wales v Ireland on today? All you need to know about the Six Nations clash
Two simple and tasty pork dishes with an air-fryer hack for perfect crackling
Do they have vacant or disused properties which could be reused to house our homeless people?
Are they really concerned for those of us who need proper representation or are they just promoting their own agendas?
This is where our media and commentators who interview candidates need to go. They need to ask the hard questions.
Do candidates flyers and proclamations marry up with what is actually known about them or do we as voters just accept what we are being told? – Yours, etc,
