Patient fatally shoots doctor before killing himself

A patient shot at a doctor in a university clinic in southwest Berlin on Tuesday morning, before shooting himself dead.

German police said that there were “no signs at all“ of a link with terrorism.

Police said the doctor died on Tuesday afternoon.

A spokeswoman for the Benjamin Franklin campus of the Charite university hospital had no immediate comment.
