TICKETS:THERE ARE still tickets available for Irish boxer Katie Taylor's quarter-final fight that guarantees her a bronze medal. The cheapest is priced at £75 (€96).

Taylor’s fight in the lightweight category takes place on Monday August 6th in the ExCeL centre in central London.

There are also tickets available to see some of the five male Irish boxers who carry our best hope of winning medals, although there are none left for today’s opening bouts that will see bantamweight John Joe Nevin and middleweight Darren O’Neill in action.

However, tickets costing £95 (€120) are available for welterweight Adam Nolan’s fight tomorrow, for Michael Conlan’s on Monday and for Paddy Barnes’s debut on Tuesday.
