Three men have been arrested as part of an investigation into an armed robbery at a retail premises in west Dublin this morning.
The men entered the premises on Tower Road in Clondalkin armed with an imitation firearm and knives at around 8am.
They threatened staff before making off on foot with cigarettes and cash.
Gardaí arrested three men in the area a short time later. The weapons and stolen property were recovered, and a car believed to have been stolen earlier in Lucan was also located.
The men, who are all in their 20s, are being detained under section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act 1939 at Clondalkin Garda station.
No one was injured during the robbery.
