Thirty-three new jobs for Co Kerry

The Irish division of IFG Group and corporate insurance broker McGivern Flynn & Co and have joined forces in a new initiative which is to create 33 new full-time jobs over the next three years in Co Kerry.

The new business venture, which is supported by Údarás na Gaeltachta, will see the establishment of a backoffice support and services contact centre in Dingle that will offer a range of insurance packages to customers throughout Ireland.

The operation is expected to be up and running by January with recruitment commencing immediately. A total of five people will be employed initially and recruitment will continue as the business expands.

Headquartered in Dublin, the IFG Group is a highly diversified financial services firm which specialises in the provision of independent financial advisory and administrative services across Ireland, the UK and in mainland Europe.

“While the business will initially focus on the existing client base within the IFG network, we hope to be able to make similar offerings to external clients as we expand the operation,” said Barry Darmody, managing director of IFG’s property division.
