Several hundred protesters took part in an anti-austerity march in Dublin today.

The pre-budget demonstration, organised by Dublin Council of Trade Unions, began at the Garden of Remembrance in Parnell Square at around 1pm before moving down O’Connell Street and over O’Connell Bridge.

It concluded with a rally outside the GPO on O’Connell Street.

Youth organisations, community groups, Sinn Féin, SIPTU, the CPSU and Mandate were among the groups participating in the demonstration.
