Danske secured judgment against Mr Perry and his wife Marie for €2.47 million in the Commercial Court in July.

The details of the agreement between Mr. Perry and his wife and the Bank are confidential.

In a statement this evening, Mr Perry confirmed that all his tax affairs have been and remain up to date.
