Do you know your wit from your wheat? Your stouts from your ales?
Or maybe you haven’t a notion about different beers but fancy a taste of something other than a pint of the usual stuff at your local? If so, head to the RDS this weekend where more than 70 Irish beers and ciders will be available to sample as part of the Irish Craft Beerfest. There will more than 20 Irish breweries featured at the festival. It’s not all beer though, there’s live music and plenty of artisanal food stalls — organic burgers, a pig on a spit, fish from the Burren Smokehouse, and plenty more. Opens today noon to 12.30am and tomorrow 12-10pm; tickets €10.
