An Irish Times video of Mícheál Ó Muircheartaigh making a ham sandwich has been shared on Reddit because viewers find his voice “reLaxing”.

Recorded by videojournalist Bryan O’Brien in 2015, it shows the famous GAA commentator talking about packing a “GAA picnic” when travelling to games and talks us through how to make the perfect match-day ham sandwich.

The video was posted on a Reddit forum called ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) on Monday and has racked up 800 views since then.
