Clothes retailer New Look is to create 121 jobs in Dublin with the opening of a new flagship store in the Jervis Street shopping centre.

The 30,000 sq.ft store, which is due to open in early November, will be the largest shop in the retailer's chain of over 1,000 outlets worldwide.

New Look arrived in Ireland in 2003 and currently operates 28 stores across the country.

The new jobs, which consist of 110 sales positions and 11 management roles, bring the firm's Irish headcount to almost 1,000.

“New Look is delighted to have secured not only our long awaited Irish flagship store, but also to be opening our largest store globally,” said the firm's regional sales manager Brian Montgomery.

"New Look has been looking for a Dublin site for some time now and the Jervis Centre opportunity allows us the space to deliver not only our enviable store concept, but an unrivalled fashion offer to Dublin and the many visitors this beautiful city attracts.”
