A woman in her 70s has died following a two-car collision in Co Louth on Saturday night.
The woman was a passenger in one of the cars and she was pronounced dead at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.
The car she was in was driven by a woman in her 60s who along with the driver and passenger in the other car were also taken to hospital. Their injuries are not life-threatening.
The crash happened at Clonmore, Togher just before 11.30pm and gardaí have asked anyone who travelled the road between 11 and 11.30pm to contact them at Drogheda Garda station, or any Garda station or on the Garda confidential phone line.
The woman who died last night was named locally as 70 year old Margaret Healy from Annagassan. Her husband also died following a traffic accident approximately 20 years ago.
The scene was being examined on Sunday by Garda forensic collision investigators.
