Ten injured after two cars collide in Kerry

One person is understood to be in a critical condtion

Ten people have been injured following a two-car collision in Co Kerry last night.

The crash took place at around 7.55pm on Kerries Cross in the Clougherbrien area, just outside Tralee.

There were no fatalities. However, one person is believed to be in a critical condition.

Those injured range in age from 11 to 67. They were taken to Kerry General Hospital.

The road is currently closed for forensic examination but is expected to be reopened by lunchtime.
