Concern grows for two tourists missing at Giant’s Causeway

Two women failed to return to tour bus after visiting site on Antrim coast on Tuesday

Police in Northern Ireland are trying to track down two tourists who have not been seen since visiting the Giant's Causeway on Tuesday.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland said it is "becoming concerned for the welfare" of missing Ni Xiaofang (30), and Ni Zhiling (26).

They failed to return to their tour bus after seeing the world-famous basalt columns which are flanked by the North Atlantic Ocean and dramatic cliffs in Bushmills.

Police could not say if the women may have come to any harm.

Both women are approximately 5ft 2ins and slim. One has short dark hair and was wearing a yellow jumper, blue jeans and flip flops.

The other woman was wearing a pink jumper, blue jeans and flip flops.

Officers in Coleraine have urged them or anyone who knows of their whereabouts to get in touch.
