Home Instead Senior Care, a company which provides non-medical services to elderly people, is to open two new franchise offices.

The Mullingar franchise is to open in early November while the second office is due to open in Kildare in January. Up to 100 full-time and part-time jobs are expected to be created between the two organisations over the next three years.

The new offices bring the total number of independently owned Irish franchise offices to 17.

Home Instead, which operates in 85 countries worldwide, was brought to Ireland by Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist Ed Murphy and Michael Kearney in 2005.
