IF YOU DO ONE THING THIS WEEK . . . CAN THE COMPLAINTS
THE OTHER day a good friend made a positive comment about something where a negative one would have been the easy option. When I commended him on his kindness and diplomacy, he pointed me in the direction of “A Complaint Free World.”
The idea is to try to go for 21 days without complaining. You can go this alone, but the site sells a purple bracelet to wear and, if you catch yourself complaining, you switch it to the other wrist and start again. “We see a day when people focus on, and speak about, what they desire things to be rather than complaining about how things are,” states the website.
Whether you embrace the movement or not, next time a complaint starts to form in your mind, why not see if you can come up with something more positive?
You can find out more at acomplaintfreeworld.org(just be aware that if you click on this link a short video with sound plays automatically. Not that I'm complaining . . . )
