If you do one thing this week... Work out to warm up
We’re in deep winter now, and the temperatures have been plummeting.
If you have a daily routine that means you don’t move around much – maybe you work at a desk – keeping warm can be an issue.
Of course, you can pile on the layers of clothes and turn up the heating, but a cheap and effective way to boost your own furnace (and help boost your health too) is to be physically active.
So if weather allows, why not wrap up appropriately and get out for a brisk walk or a run at lunchtime?
Or, if you can get to the gym, many offer short fitness classes that let you build up a sweat, but still be showered, changed and back to work in good time.
You’ll feel better, and warmer, for it.
