Get your dancing feet on: DanceHouse, the purpose-built dance studio on Foley St, Dublin 1, is inviting people of all ages to come along tonight from 6.30pm to join in some of the 19 free dance classes.

The drop-in taster classes include everything from zumba to hip hop, ballet, jazz, Irish dance, Latin American and ballroom and flamenco. No pre-registration required. See also danceireland.iefor more details.

Mental health debate: Sopranos actor Joe Pantoliano and British actor Stuart Semple will join a debate on mental health in the Lecture Theatre, Earlsfort Terrace, Dublin tomorrow at 7pm. The event, which will be chaired by Colm O'Gorman from Amnesty, is part of the First Fortnight festival of events exploring mental health. For more details, see also firstfortnight.ie.

Meditation workshop: A workshop which combines meditation, chant and the Alexander Technique will be held in Glenstal Abbey, Murroe, Co Limerick on Saturday, January 19th.
