The European Year of Volunteering Roadshow will stop off in the European Union House, Dawson Street, Dublin 2, from Monday, August 22nd to Friday, August 26th. Each day will have a different theme with about 70 Irish voluntary and charity organisations showcasing their skills. A new style of yoga that combines aerial dance and movement, core conditioning and Pilates is now available at a Dublin yoga studio. Suzanne Kenny is teaching anti-gravity yoga at her Yoga4All studio in Airside Business Park, Swords. Sixteen silk hammocks suspended from the ceiling accommodate the unusual exercise sequence.

A new app called Grace, after Lisa Domican’s autistic daughter, is now available to download on the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. Based on the principle of picture-exchange communication, the app works by helping non-verbal children and adults to communicate to other people through text and pictures.
