The massive fire at a scrapyard in Dublin's docklands is continuing to rage this afternoon, leaving huge plumes of acrid smoke billowing into the city skyline.
The blaze broke out in the yard of Hammond Lane Metal Co on the Pigeon House Road at lunchtime.

A fire brigade spokeswoman said one fireman was slightly injured and is being treated in hospital.
The 25 staff on the grounds of the scrapyard were evacuated without injury.
"The fire has caused a lot of smoke but no premises, industrial, commercial or private, are at risk," the spokeswoman said.
It is thought the blaze started when petrol or tyres from scrapped cars caught fire.
A huge mound of scrap continues to burn, but it is now under control. Four cranes were working to prevent it from spreading.
Five fire tenders and an ambulance were called to the scene. Gardaí sealed off the area, warning the public of a risk of an explosion.
