Delays on Luas red line after crash

The Luas red line was delayed in Dublin tonight following a minor collision between a tram and an ambulance.

The Luas red line was delayed in Dublin tonight following a minor collision between a tram and an ambulance.

The red line tram and the ambulance clipped each other outside Store Street garda station at about 7.30pm.

It is understood that the ambulance was attending an incident and was in the tram pass when they clipped each other.

The Luas was travelling in the direction of Tallaght.

There were no injuries on either the tram or the ambulance.

Part of the service was delayed for a time but was fully restored shortly after 8pm.
