Woman to appear in court over Gareth Hutch murder

Dublin man (35) was one of seven people killed since September in Kinahan-Hutch feud

A woman will appear in court on Tuesday charged in connection with the murder of Gareth Hutch in Dublin last week.

A nephew of Gerry “The Monk” Hutch, Gareth Hutch (35) was shot dead in the north inner city on Tuesday, May 24th in the latest murder linked to the Kinahan-Hutch feud.

A woman in her 40s who had been detained in relation to the murder is scheduled to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice on Tuesday morning at 10.30am charged in connection with the investigation, a Garda spokesman said.

Two other prisoners remain in custody.

The dead man was a cousin of Gary Hutch and also the nephew of murdered taxi driver Eddie Hutch.

Two handguns were found at the scene of the shooting, which took place in the car park of Avondale House, North Cumberland Street, where Mr Hutch lived.

The feud between the Hutch and Kinahan gangs has claimed seven lives since last September - six of them in the last four months
