A woman in her 90s was robbed in her Waterford home in the early hours of Christmas Eve morning.
Gardaí said the woman was in bed at about 3am when two men, aged in their late teens or early 20s, broke into the house. The pair threatened the woman and stole some property. The pensioner was not physically harmed during the incient.
Gardai have not made any arrests but are appealing for anyone with information to contact Waterford Garda station or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800-666111.
