Man repeatedly kicked and punched before his mobile phone stolen on April 4th

Two people have been arrested in connection with an assault and robbery on a man at Bray Dart station.

The incident occurred in a laneway at the station at approximately 6pm on April 4th. The man was kicked and punched repeatedly before he had his pockets searched and mobile phone stolen by a group of at least three individuals.

The victim was left on the ground and in need of medical assistance. He was attended to by paramedics at the scene.

Gardaí at Bray investigating the incident have arrested two people. A man in his late twenties was apprehended in the Bray area on Wednesday evening, while a woman in her late teens was arrested in the same area on Thursday morning.

Both were detained at Bray Garda Station under Section 4 CJA before being later released. A spokesman for the Garda said files were being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
