Six teenagers were arrested after a stolen car was involved in a three-vehicle collision in Termonfeckin village in Co Louth yesterday evening.
Gardaí confirmed that the six were arrested after a Mercedes C180, which was stolen in Drogheda on Monday, crashed in the middle of the village just after 7.15pm.
The Mercedes is believed to have tried to undertake another car, which resulted in it mounting the narrow footpath, striking a wall and heading back onto the road in front of the Ford car it was undertaking.
The Ford B-Max then collided with a Toyota Landcruiser.
Gardaí said the driver of the Ford car was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Six teenage males were arrested, all are from Co Louth, and they were detained at Drogheda Garda station.
