Gardaí in west Dublin are investigating after a man was shot in a church car park.
The man, who is in his 30s, walked into Clondalkin Garda satation with gunshot wounds at about 6.15pm, a Garda spokesman said.
It is believed he sustained his injuries some minutes earlier during an incident on Bawnogue Road.
He was removed by ambulance to Tallaght hospital.

“A church car park on Bawnogue Road, Clondalkin Garda station and part of Tower Road has been sealed off for technical examination. Traffic diversions are currently in place on Tower Road,” the Garda spokesman added.
