A man in his late 20s has been arrested after a stabbing incident at the Hell Fire Club in south Co Dublin on Monday.

Three teenagers were taken to Tallaght Hospital after an argument broke out at about 3.45pm.

One of the men was stabbed while another man and a woman were assaulted. All three have since been released from hospital.

The incident took place at the Hell Fire Club, otherwise known as Montpelier Hill, a popular site for walkers surrounded by lands owned by the State forestry company Coillte.

The man was arrested in the Kilakee area on Monday night and is being held at Tallaght Garda Station under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
