A man is due in court today after an Ebola security alert on board an Aer Lingus flight which arrived from Milan at Dublin Airport.
An emergency protocol was put in place yesterday afternoon after it was reported to authorities that a passenger showed a plastic cup to a flight attendant marked “Attentzione Ebola”.
The Health Service Executive (HSE) ruled out a health risk in connection with the incident.
Three people were arrested at Dublin Airport yesterday. A 56-year-old man is due before the Courts of Criminal Justice this morning. Two arrested women were relesed without charge.
