Man arrested in relation to shooting in Greystones

A 34-year-old man has been arrested in relation to a shooting incident in Greystones, Co Wicklow.

He is detained at Bray Garda Station under the provisions of Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act 1939.

A number of men were involved in the incident on December 12th in which two shots struck a car. The driver and his passenger escaped injury.

Gardaí are appealing for information for anyone who was in the Farrankelly area of Greystones from 10am-12am on Saturday and may have seen an 08 Audi A4 saloon or white/off-white Transit van.
