Four women hurt after buses attacked in east Belfast

Four women were injured after vehicles were attacked in east Belfast last night.

One of the women was hit by a stone while three others were struck by flying glass when youths pelted the buses on which they were travelling.

The attacks happened in the Castlereagh Street and Beersbridge Road areas at about 9.30pm.

Four buses and a number of cars were damaged.

The PSNI said the youths dispersed when officers were called to the scene.
