The trial of Glasgow Celtic and Irish international footballer Anthony Stokes has been adjourned until Tuesday.

Stokes (26) of Claremont Terrace, Glasgow, was sent forward to Dublin Circuit Criminal Court on District Court charges of assault causing harm to Anthony Bradley (42) at Buck Whaleys on Leeson Street, Dublin in June 8th, 2013.

Michael Staines, solicitor for Mr Stokes, told Judge Patricia Ryan that they were ready to proceed with the trial.

Judge Ryan said she would put the case back for mention before the same court on Tuesday but added that she could not guarantee that it would proceed then as there are presently no judges available to take the case.
