A car and a shed were damaged during arson attacks in Antrim last night.

Police in the North are investigating links between three incidents in the town which were reported within a 15 minute period.

The first incident was reported to the PSNI at about 8.50pm in the Meadow area when a shed was set alight.

A car was “extensively damaged” in the Kintyre area a short time later, the PSNI said. Police received a report of the car being set alight at about 9pm.

Five minutes later police received a report that a car windscreen was damaged in the Islay Street area.

The PSNI has appealed for anyone with information to contact Antrim police station.
